On October 07, 2022 our Board of Trustees made a decision to increase the number of Sakharov scholars from 8 to 10 for the 2022-2023 academic year and held a vote on candidates submitted by MIPT. The Trustees noted that all the candidates presented had a high level of academic and scientific achievements.
The following ten scholars were elected by vote:

- Alexander A. TARUSOV (1st year PhD student, Department of Fundamental Interactions Theory and Quantum Gravitation)
- Kirill A. USHAKOV (6th year student, Department of Fundamental Interactions Theory and Quantum Gravitation)
