The Andrei Sakharov Science Endowment Fund will be established in Russia to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Andrei Sakharov – a famous scientist, human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize laureate.
The Fund will be launched in accordance with the decree issued by Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation, on March 18, 2019 under the auspices of the Celebration Committee with the support of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
