Our Board of Trustees held a vote on ten candidates submitted by MIPT for The Andrei Sakharov Scholarships. The Trustees noted that all the candidates presented had an extremely high level of academic and scientific achievements.
The following eight scholars were elected by vote:
- Elizaveta S. ANDRIYAKHINA (5th year student, Department of Problems of Theoretical Physics)
- Olga I. BORODINA (6th year student, Department of Space Physics)
- Elena N. LANINA (1st year PhD student, Department of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics)
- Khachatur G. NAZARYAN (5th year student, Department of Theoretical Physics)
- Vladislav D. NEGODIN (5th year student, Department of Computational Physics of Condensed Matter and Living Systems)
- Roman S. NEPEIVODA (6th year student, Department of Fundamental Interactions and Cosmology)
- Dmitry A. TRUNIN (2nd year PhD student, Department of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics)
- Vsevolod I. YASHIN (6th year student, Department of Methods of Modern Mathematics)
The following two candidates became the finalists of the competition (without scholarships):
- Timofey M. SAVILOV (4th year student, Department of Computational Physics of Condensed Matter and Living Systems)
- Nikita S. TSELOUSOV (5th year student, Department of Theoretical and Mathematical Physics)
